Tony Bruno is “Mr. Monday Night” for his Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks: NFL Week 4 Monday Night Edition

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers 8:15pm EST

This game probably looked good on paper when it was scheduled in March. ESPN is contractually obligated to televise it – Mr Monday Night doesn’t get a bye week -so pick we must for your drinking and gambling pleasure.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have owned the Bengals in this rivalry, haven’t lost on MNF in their last 16 appearances, and are justly favored by 3 1/2 pts over Cincinnati at Heinz Field. They also haven’t been 0-4 since 1968.

Lots has changed in this divisional rivalry. Ben is gone, his back up Mason Rudolph did virtually nothing with 5 turnovers in San Francisco and the loser of this game will be pretty much toast at the 1/4 pole of the season.

In Cincy, Marvin Lewis is no longer around to orchestrate and endure the losing ways and prime time putridity(sic) Andy Dalton is 2-5 on MNF since coming into the league in 2011, Bengals 6-15 in all prime time contests.

I hate wasting good money on Dalton, but I will rather tread lightly and take the Bengals with the points than just throw it away to any politician begging for my cash. I am also throwing in the Under 44 at no additional charge to make this game more palatable to watch Cincy +3 1/2  Under the total 44.
