Another Monday Night stinker on the schedule which should send millions of sports fans looking for NBA, Hockey or even Wrestling options tonight.Despite recent medical issues, this Austere football prognosticator is alive, and strong enough to release another selection after an average weekend.
The last time the Steelers and Dolphins met 12 years ago on MNF, it was a 3-0 snooze fest with Ben Rothlesberger facing the great John Beck and the game was decided by a field goal in the closing seconds.
Winless Miami is still in full tank mode and shedding more players weekly, but turned to Ryan Fitzpatrick to at least cover some big point spreads (2 in a row) and make the games somewhat watchable. Steelers O-line has only given up 5 sacks and the Dolphins aren’t good at rushing the QB. Does that give the returning Mason Rudolph a better chance to find the invisible JuJu Smith-Shuster or pound James Connor?
The point spread is 2 tds and sharps have been on Miami. Steelers coming off a bye and have 3 straight at home including the Colts on Sunday. Until the Steelers show me they can move the football with consistency, I’ll grab the 14 pts and the Dolphins to cover.
